Nastia is editor-in-Chief of the investigative journalism agency Slidstvo.Info.
She worked for the national TV channels Pershyi and TVi.
Nastia is a co-founder of the independent media outlet Hromadske. She served as its Editor-in-Chief from 2020 to 2021. Nastia covered the Maidan events during the Revolution of Dignity, Russia’s aggression in Donetsk and Luhansk regions, and in Crimea.
She founded the Hromadske.East project covering occupied territories and the contact line.
Nastia received the Grand Prize of the Mezhyhirya Festival in 2016.
In 2018, she received the International Press Freedom Award in New York from the Committee to Protect Journalists (CPJ), In 2019, she received the Courage in Journalism Award from IWMF. In Ukraine, she was shortlisted for the “Honor of the Profession” journalism award for several consecutive years.
After Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, she focused on war reporting, regularly visiting frontline areas.
