The investigation exposes backroom dealings between the current authorities and representatives of fugitive ex-President Viktor Yanukovych’s inner circle. Most of them are subjects of General Prosecutor’s Office investigations, yet the cases move at a crawl — or have simply ground to a halt. The journalists uncovered a secret meeting between former Energy Minister Eduard Stavytsky and senior GPO officials. It took place in Israel and appeared to be an attempt to negotiate an outcome favorable to Stavytsky.
The film was presented at the annual journalism conference MezhyhiriaFest and subsequently aired on Channel 24 and Hromadske.
