The prosecutors have announced suspicions of murder, torture, and other crimes to eight Russian occupiers who were in the village of Motyzhyn in Kyiv oblast in March as part of the Russian army and PMC Wagner. Most of these occupiers were previously identified by the journalists of Slidstvo.Info.
The photos and names of the suspected occupiers were published by the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Iryna Venediktova on Facebook.
“At least fourteen episodes of crimes committed by eight Russian servicemen and members of the private military company. Only three people survived their torture,” – Iryna Venediktova wrote. She published the names of the suspects. Namely:
Senior Lieutenant Oleh Krikunov, the Platoon Commander of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th All-Military Army.
Sergeant Chinhis Honchikov, the Commander of the Division, the Combat Vehicle Commander of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th All-Military Army.
Sergeant Oleksandr Vanchikov, the Commander of the Division of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th All-Military Army.
Sergeant Mahomedmirza Suleimanov, – the Combat Vehicle Commander of the 37th Separate Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 36th All-Military Army.

According to the investigation, this group of occupiers captured and tortured to death Olga Sukhnenko, the head of the village of Motyzhyn, as well as her husband and son.
“In the place of their location, the invaders tortured them and tried to get some information about the Armed Forces and the Territorial Defense Forces. Just in front of the mother, the first shot her son in the leg and then shot him dead in the head. The whole family died from multiple gunshot wounds,” – Iryna Venediktova wrote.
The bodies of the village head, as well as her family and other hostages, were later found in a mass grave near the torture chamber.
Most of the suspected occupiers were previously identified by the journalists of Slidstvo.Info. In particular, in the publication “Selfie From the War and Coming Back in Body Bags: the Faces of the Occupiers of the 37th Brigade” the journalists published information about Oleh Krikunov, Vitalii Dmitriiev, Chinhis Honchikov, Oleksandr Vanchikov, and Mahomedmirza Suleimanov. The same photos were later published in the statement of the law enforcement officers.
